Knit-a-Blanket Project, Stripe 7

Six stripes down, onto the 7th. Since being back to working 60-80 hours a week, my knitting speed has definitely plummeted. It's just that sometimes, when I get home, my bed is far more tempting than this project.
As usual:
Here are the stripe colors so far (all using Caron Simply Soft yarn)
Stripe 1: Grey Heather
Stripe 2: Country Blue
Stripe 3: Dark Country Blue
Stripe 4: Ocean
Stripe 5: Pagoda
Stripe 6: Blue Mint

The current stripe, number 7, is in Light Country Blue.

Can't wait to get going on the 8th, and final, stripe soon! The countdown is on until Chris and I start looking for an apartment to move into in June. The creative, decorative side of me will really blossom when we're finally under the same roof and we can make our one apartment our home.

    I am restless tonight thinking of you, wishing summer was here already. Daily I am reminded of what a beautiful and marvelous woman you truly are. And as I have seen your progress on this blanket, I cannot help but think of the wonderful future we are building together. I love you dearly and I cannot wait to share one roof with you.
